Somehow the cancellation of the original camera order failed so I later on received both cameras and was charged for both. Naturally I contacted them and as requested sent one of them back in order to receive the £285 of the £570 I just spent. By tracking the return I saw it was delivered back to them safely. After waiting for a month I realised that I never was given back the refund and instead had been charged another £285.... I have at this been charged £855 for one GoPro Hero8.

Although not necessarily the most important component, a defining element of a GoPro is its lens. Rather than using a standard lens, GoPros — like many other action cams — use an extremely wide lens. What this does is increase the amount of scenery you capture in the frame, making it easy to frame your shot. Mount it to your handlebars or the side of your helmet, and you can rest assured that it sees just about anything that happens in front of you.
and today my contact with agent support give me comment - I can not find Your cases numbers??? I got every transcript from my chat. now it's time to go to police, as this comapny took 300+euros, and don't even care about return them. no proof of transaction, every agent put some "note, urgent flag" on this case, yet noone give a s... about it. I did not recive any update!
14 days later I still hadn’t heard anything, still no money taken from my account and still no news on my camera. I contacted support again who said I should have contacted them BEFORE the 14 days were up so they could follow up on my order. I asked them to check their records as that is exactly what I did, on 6th December. For this mishap they shipped me a free handler (which by some miracle arrived 2 days later). Still no news on the camera but I was assured an escalation was placed on my case so I trusted the process.

I ordered an item on their website and paid through Paypal. Ten days later no product. I contacted them and they have no record of the order, despite payment being taken and an invoice number being recorded on the payment. Now they are questioning if I really placed the order - despite receiving a copy of the paypal email confirmation and the invoice number. GoPro plus membership means nothing - except they take €5 from you each month. I am happy with the GoPro max I bought in Dixons - but the company and their customer support is dreadful.
Terrible customer service. I ordered the Hero 8 twice as he first order was cancelled by them. They told me there was a problem with my billing address, so I fixed that issue. After that, I did another order. However, they cancelled the order again. So, I reached out to them again to see what the problem was this time. Turned out they couldn't answer me that either and they have no visibility in why it got cancelled. I figured that I wouldn't get the cam on time for my upcoming trip, which was already very disappointing and annoying. Worse than that was that they don't really seem to care if I am or am not able to order from their website. I mean what am I supposed to do differently in my orderings if they keep cancelling them and not even the company itself can tell why. 

GoPro HERO6 Black


This isn't technically a feature on the camera, as it's in the app, but it so far only works with footage shot on the Hero 8. It's often difficult to keep the camera perfectly level, especially if it's extended on a pole. Your lopsided footage can now be easily (and automatically) fixed in the app. GoPro's app already had a basic leveling tool, but it couldn't help with varying levels of lopsidedness over time.
